The aims of Soundbite Nigeria are to get children, teenagers and adults cooking in Lagos. With such diverse ingredients and produce available in the city it is not only a life skill but a necessity for health and well being, and of course a sociable and pleasurable experience for all. Jane Luxmoore the C.E.O of Soundbite Cookery School has been working within the food profession for 20 years, working with Food in the Education sector, schools and Institutes and the Industry from Austria to Ghana.
Soundbite Nigeria run cookery workshops for all ages they also offer training to those working in the catering, food Industry to help them develop their skills in western Cuisine and brush up on past knowledge. We are currently based in Park View Estate, Ikoyi.Lagos. Contact : Jane Luxmoore

Christmas cookery workshops in Ikoyi, Lagos 2011

Dates:

Wednesday 14th Dec – Ages 6–10 yrs- 9.30am – 1pm
Friday 16th Dec – Ages 11–15yrs -9.30am – 1pm

Christmas goodies!!
Working with Jane and her assistant the children will be cooking a selection of Christmas cookies, cakes and sweets from scratch. They will package them to make super Christmas gifts .All foods made will be taken home.
Cost; N8, 000.00 – includes all ingredients, tuition and refreshments. Aprons will be provided. Pre booking essential as places are limited.

Mon 19th Dec -Age 6 – 10 yrs 9.30am – 1pm
Tues 20th Dec – Age 11 -15 yrs- 9.30 – 1pm

Pastries and Bread making
Making traditional English Chelsea and Iced Buns as well as a variety of beautiful breads all from scratch!! All foods made will be taken home.
Cost; N8, 000.00 – includes all ingredients, tuition and refreshments. Aprons will be provided. Pre booking essential as places are limited.

Nigerian Cuisine
Starting with some basic Nigerian dishes the children will make – Jollof Rice, Moi Moi, Egusi stew. All foods made will be taken home.
Cost; N8, 000.00 – includes all ingredients, tuition and refreshments. Aprons will be provided. Pre booking essential as places are limited.
