Set in the beautiful West Dorset countryside of the “Blackmore Vale” in a converted barn at the family home, Jane Luxmoore's Cookery School “Soundbite” offer “Hands On” cookery courses and workshops to children, teenagers, students and adults of all ages.

Chef Jane luxmoore has nearly 20 years experience in catering and as a food teacher and has spent many years cooking & working abroad from Austria to Ghana . Jane has a passion and enthusiasm for cooking, encouraging people to cook in a fun and relaxed environment.

Soundbite use as much local produce as possible from Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. There are local meat, cheese and organic vegetable suppliers within a 5 mile radius of the soundbite kitchen as well as Soundbite “Home grown” produce from the veggie patch.

Numbers on the cookery workshops and courses are kept small to ensure all participants get one to one attention as well as the enjoyment of working with others.

With a beautiful view onto open fields the Soundbite kitchen is an idyllic environment to enjoy cooking, learning and socialising.

Workshops and courses range from Puds for Men, Domestic Goddess workshops, Cookery for kids & Teenagers, West African Cooking as well as Bushcraft  Cookery Camps & Days.

Just 4 miles from the medieval town of Sherborne in Dorset the Soundbite Kitchen is based in the tiny unspoilt hamlet of “Caundle Marsh”. Sherborne has direct rail links to mainline stations in London, while Yeovil, Salisbury and Dorchester are within easy reach by rail, car or bus.
